We were invited back to capture a few of the cast of this year’s Christmas Dunstable Panto. This year the Dunstable Panto will be the much loved pantomime adaptation of the Disney classic, Aladdin.
After a record breaking panto season with Cinderella at the Grove Theatre, the producers return to Dunstable for a fourth panto season, with the spectacular family pantomime, Aladdin! CBBC star Ed Petrie will play Wishee Washee, Corrie’s villain of the decade, Brian Capron, will play Abanazar, and Kieran and Sarah from Britain’s Got Talent also join the cast.
We got to meet the headline stars for the Dunstable panto and they are truly legends in our eyes. We had a lot of fun whilst shooting at Dunstable’s finest hotel, The Old Palace Lodge who are again sponsoring the show.
We had to capture the fun element of the pantomime whilst also showing off the hotel – this year we even managed to get some help in the laundry rooms!
The photos are meant to capture the tongue in cheek type of performance we come to expect when we go to watch a pantomime – and I think the cast triumphed again this year.
I for one cannot wait to watch them perform in Aladdin.
