Yes, you read right… we are back in action and weddings are go go go! We have been eagerly awaiting government relaxation of weddings, and from 17th May 2021, weddings can officially have up to 30 guests, whilst this won’t be enough for everyone, it means we are heading in the right direction. We have spent the last year moving weddings to new dates, it’s not been an easy task at all. Though, thankfully, we have managed to move everyone to a new date that we are available. To put it into perspective, we have had 69 wedding date changes because of covid-19, this has not been a small task to operate.
We know this last year and a bit has been tough on businesses and people, we really do feel for our couples who have had to move their wedding dates, once, twice, three times and one couple four times… but we are finally here – back in action!
“Saturday 22nd May was our first wedding since December’s national lockdown so was a little strange feeling. I felt like a new school boy heading into a new school on my first day – my uniform was crisp and new, I had a new lens in my kit bag and even had a new face mask (yes, these are still mandatory for everyone indoors), but the feeling of awkwardness soon became excitement again, I fell right back into the thing I do best.” Lewis
Another wedding coming up this weekend in Stony Stratford, and a fully booked calendar for the rest of the year, we can officially announce that we are uncontrollably excited!
